Midtown Centre – Building that Breathes

AsheMorgan, along with our development partner DMANN Corporation, is excited to announce that Midtown Centre was awarded the Lord Mayor’s “Brisbane Buildings that Breathe Architecture Prize” at the 2022 Brisbane Regional Architecture Awards (Australian Institute of Architects).

Designed by Fender Katsalidis, Midtown Centre has set the benchmark in architecture, showcasing the highest standard of design and construction, creating an enviable and lush urban environment celebrating Brisbane’s subtropical lifestyle.

Judges praised the innovative design and construction methodology of merging two existing office towers, that saved an estimated 11,000 tonnes of carbon emissions compared with demolishing the existing buildings - equivalent to running the building fully occupied, carbon-neutral for four years.
